Aayush Sharma humorously refers himself as a "nepo kid by association"

Aayush Sharma , a budding talent in Bollywood , stands out as a unique newcomer. He embarked on his cinematic journey in 2018 with the movie Loveyatri , gradually making his mark in the field. Despite facing hurdles along the way, he remains committed to his craft, showcasing dedication and effort in every role he takes on. But, as they say, there are always critics.

Even though he's not from a film family, Aayush often deals with negative comments because he's married to Salman Khan 's sister. In an exclusive chat with Pinkvilla, Aayush talked about how he manages the criticism linked to being called a nepotism beneficiary.
Aayush Sharma mentions that he doesn't pay much attention to negative remarks. In the conversation, they talked about Aayush Sharma's position as someone not from a film family but often called a beneficiary of nepotism because he's married to Salman Khan's sister, Arpita . Sharma joked about being a "nepo kid by association" in a light-hearted way.

When questioned about handling the negativity linked to this label, he shared his viewpoint, stating, "I think you just develop immunity towards it. Somewhere down the line, I believe there are people you know...there's always a thought process. Just imagine, this is a very naive thought process- Maybe Pinkvilla carries a picture of mine, which is getting about 50-200 negative comments, 300 maybe, but then you convert it to the likes. The likes are sitting at 7000. Now, what do I focus on? Do I focus on those 200-300 negative abuses I'm getting or the people who have liked it?"

He further added, "It's a matter of perspective. You look down, and you read through it. You sometimes find obnoxious thought processes, or there are people who are liking it, maybe not saying anything nice about you, but they liked it and moved on. So I believe that whatever the thought process is, irrespective of good or bad...I always like to lighten up my own mood by saying this, 'love me, you hate me, but please don't ignore me."'

Professionally, following Loveyatri, Aayush appeared in Antim: The Final Truth alongside Salman Khan and Mahima Makwana. He has also starred in music videos like Majha, Pehli Pehli Barish, Chumma Chumma, and Tera Hoke Nachda Phira. His upcoming project, Ruslaan , is set to release on April 26.
