Air India tragedy: Raveena Tandon pays tribute to victims: “A wound that will never heal”
The whole world was shaken to hear the news that the London-bound aircraft, carrying 242 passengers, crashed into a medical college complex shortly after takeoff on June 12, resulting in a massive explosion. The crash, which has been termed one of the worst air disasters in recent Indian history, also killed several people on the ground.

Now, the Bollywood actress Raveena Tandon has expressed deep sorrow over the recent Air India plane crash in Ahmedabad, which claimed numerous lives, calling the tragedy “a wound that will never heal.”
Raveena Tandon, who was onboard an Air India flight following the incident, shared an emotional post on Instagram, reflecting the sombre mood among passengers and crew.

Posting a series of pictures from her flight, Raveena wrote, “New Beginnings ..... to rise and fly again against all odds ... to pick up and start all over, new resolve towards greater strength. The atmosphere solemn and the crew’s welcoming smiles, tinted with sadness.”
She continued, “The silent passengers and crew bonding with unspoken condolences and subtle confidence. Condolences to the families that have lost their loved ones. A wound that will never heal. Godspeed always @airindia.”
Ending her post with a note of resilience and patriotism, she added, “Fearless and a will to overcome and be strong again. Jai Hind.”

Several film industry personalities, including Shah Rukh Khan, Priyanka Chopra Jonas, Akshay Kumar, Alia Bhatt, Allu Arjun, and Karan Johar, have also shared their condolences on social media.
