'Amaran': Sivakarthikeyan remembers late Major Mukund Varadarajan on his 10th death anniversary

Sivakarthikeyan is gearing up for his upcoming film ‘ Amaran ,’ which is backed by Kamal Haasan ’s production house. The movie, directed by Rajkumar Periasamy , features Sai Pallavi in the lead role. It is a biographical action war film featuring the life of the late Major Mukund Varadarajan . Now, the actor took a moment to remember Mukund on his 10th death anniversary .

On April 25, Sivakarthikeyan took to his Twitter account and shared a new still from the film, in which he is giving a solemn salute to the late Major Mukund. He wrote, “Our flag does not fly because the wind moves it; it flies with the last breath of each soldier who died protecting it," remembering the great #MajorMukundVaradarajan on his 10th death anniversary #Amaran.”

‘Amaran’ is Sivakarthikeyan’s 21st project and was shot in several locations, including Kashmir, Chennai, Pondicherry, and Puducherry. The film has music composed by G. V. Prakash Kumar . The film centers around the heroic sacrifice of Major Mukund Varadarajan, serving with the 44 Rashtriya Rifles in their fight against terrorism.
