BTS RM drops official teaser for 'Come Back to Me'

BTS leader RM is gearing up for the global release of his second solo album , ' Right Place, Wrong Person ', on May 24th at 1 PM (KST). The teaser for the album, titled ' Come back to me ', was revealed via Weverse at midnight (KST) on May 9th, leaving fans intrigued by its brief but impactful 17-second duration.

In the teaser, RM captivates viewers with a direct gaze and a contemplative expression.
His eye is adorned with a small bandage, suggesting a hidden narrative. The background music adds to the atmosphere, creating a serene and otherworldly feel.



The album, which explores the theme of feeling like an 'out-of-place outsider', comprises 11 tracks all falling within the alternative genre. RM has been actively involved in penning the lyrics for each song, showcasing his artistic depth. Ahead of the album's launch, a pre-release track and its music video will drop on May 10th.

Fans have taken to social media to express their excitement and anticipation for the album. One fan expressed curiosity about RM's creative vision, wondering, "What kind of brilliant artistic piece is he bringing this time?" RM released his first solo mixtape, RM, in 2015, followed by his second mixtape, Mono, in 2018. The latter achieved significant success, peaking at number 26 on the Billboard 200 and marking the highest-charting album by a Korean soloist in the United States up to that time. RM made his official solo debut in 2022 with the release of his studio album Indigo, featuring notable contributions from Erykah Badu and Anderson .Paak. The album soared to number three on the Billboard 200, establishing a new record as the highest-charting album by a Korean soloist of all time. Throughout his career, RM has collaborated with a diverse range of artists, including Wale, Younha, Warren G, Gaeko, Krizz Kaliko, MFBTY, Fall Out Boy, Primary, and Lil Nas X.

RM adopted the moniker "Rap Monster" during his trainee days, inspired by a song he wrote that referenced San E's "Rap Genius". The decision to use this name was driven by its perceived coolness, although RM has expressed mixed feelings about it, recognizing that it wasn't chosen for its deep personal significance.
