Fahadh Faasil condemns Kalamandalam Sathyabhama's controversial remarks: Whatever she said is wrong

Malayalam actor Fahadh Faasil , amidst his busy schedule with upcoming projects, including the highly anticipated film Aavesham set for release on April 11, has shared his insights into the controversial racist remarks made by Kalamandalam Sathyabhama .


During the promotional event for 'Aavesham', Fahadh Faasil faced a challenging question from a student regarding the recent controversy surrounding Kalamandalam Sathyabhama's derogatory remarks towards Mohiniyattam dancer-actor Dr.
RLV Ramakrishnan. Sathyabhama's comments, deemed racist and offensive, sparked widespread condemnation across various circles.

In response to the student's inquiry, Fahadh Faasil unequivocally denounced Sathyabhama's remarks, stating, "Whatever she (Kalamandalam Sathyabhama) said is wrong." However, Fahadh Faasil urged the students to refrain from posing further questions on the matter, emphasizing the promotional nature of the event.

For context, Kalamandalam Sathyabhama's comments disparaging Dr. RLV Ramakrishnan's appearance and credibility as a Mohiniyattam performer ignited outrage. Ramakrishnan, in a Facebook post, condemned Sathyabhama's racist remarks, asserting her ongoing campaign against him.

Meanwhile, Fahadh's 'Aavesham', releasing on April 11, will be clashing with the most awaited Vineeth Sreenivasan 's directorial 'Varshangalkku Shesham'. The multistarrer film features the actors Dhyan Sreenivasan, Pranav Mohanlal, Kalyani Priyadarshan, Nivin Pauly, Aju Varghese, and many others in significant roles. 'Jai Ganesh' is also set to release on April 11.
