'Maidaan' actress Priyamani says Shah Rukh Khan sent a car full of bodyguards to follow the 'Jawan girls' team till their hotel

Priyamani is currently enjoying the success of her recent film ' Maidaan ' with Ajay Devgn. The movie was released on April 11, and it is a new biographical sports drama from Bollywood.

In a recent conversation, the actress discussed her experience working with Shah Rukh Khan in the 2023 blockbuster hit film ' Jawan '. She was talking about the care and respect SRK has towards his co-actors and female cast members on the set.

In an interview with Galatta Plus, Priya Mani recollected an incident from Director Atlee 's birthday function in Chennai, which was attended by most of the 'Jawan' crew and cast then. She said that it was 3 o'clock in the morning, and the girls' gang, including Priyamani, were going back to the hotel. Shah Rukh met everyone individually to bid goodbye. He followed them till the car and sent a team of his bodyguards to follow them up till the hotel because it was 45 minutes to an hour away from the venue. Even after the ladies said they were fine and the guards could leave, they were not ready to do so. They replied that SRK had given them special instructions to see them off.

Atlee’s 'Jawan' boasted an ensemble cast and aligned a powerful gang of female actors including Nayanthara, Deepika Padukone , Priyamani, and Sanya Malhotra. The film featured SRK in a dual role.

On the work front, apart from 'Maidaan', Priya Mani was also seen in Yami Gautam’s 'Article 370', released earlier this year. She is gearing up for the release of the third part of the OTT action series 'The Family Man' with Manoj Bajpayee, Sharib Hashmi, and Sharad Kelkar in the lead roles.
