My chopper pilot called Ali Abbas Zafar mad: Prithviraj- Exclusive

Prithviraj Sukumaran is one of the most prolific names in Indian cinema currently, he’s not only acting in multiple language films, he is even producing, distributing films and will be back in the director's chair too!The actor, who was last seen in Vashu Bhagnani’s Bade Miyan Chote Miyan , is back on the sets of L2: Empuraan, which is a sequel to his 2019 blockbuster film Lucifer starring Mohanlal in the lead.

In an exclusive interview with ETimes, Prithviraj recalled the shooting experience of Bade Miyan Chote Miyan, which he termed as extremely hectic. He said , “I’ve not worked with another filmmaker who shoots at Ali’s pace, and I'm saying that because I'm also a part time filmmaker. Akshay sir, Tiger and I, couldn't even ask for the mirror in between takes. Ali had a steady camera with a mini zoom and he controlled it all. It was a mad rush and after two hours of shoot, I’d go upto Ali and ask him 'Did you get what you were looking for?' and his reply was 'all done'"

“I remember I was in the chopper in Scotland and the pilot commented that your director is mad and I agreed with him ( laughs)” he added.

Bade Miyan Chote Miyan crossed the Rs 50 crore mark at the box office on day 8, despite releasing on the festive occasion of Eid.
