Nawazuddin Siddiqui and family members get clean chit from UP police in molestation case filed by his estranged wife: Report

After investigating the molestation allegations against Nawazuddin Siddiqui and four family members , the UP police cleared them of any wrongdoing. The court subsequently accepted the closure report, providing relief to the actor.

Almost ten years ago, Aaliya Siddiqui , a television personality and producer, lodged a molestation complaint against Bollywood actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui and four of his family members at the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) court in Muzaffarnagar, Uttar Pradesh.
In her FIR, she alleged that Nawazuddin's brother, Minazuddin, had reportedly molested a minor family member in 2012, with the others supporting him.

Following an investigation, the police submitted a conclusive report last year, exonerating the actor and his family in the case, as per IANS. Subsequently, Judge Ritesh Sachdeva summoned the complainant to appear before the POCSO court and address the findings presented by the investigating officers.

Despite several opportunities and notices, the complainant failed to appear in court. Consequently, the court accepted the police report, ultimately clearing the Gangs of Wasseypur actor and his four family members of any wrongdoing, as per PTI.

Just under three weeks ago, Aaliya took to social media to share a heartwarming video commemorating her 14th wedding anniversary with Nawazuddin Siddiqui. The post includes charming family snapshots of Aaliya, Nawazuddin, and their two children. Accompanying the video, she expressed, "Celebrating 14 years of wedded bliss with my one and only. Anniversary cheers."

This post followed Aaliya's previous public allegations against the actor and her open criticism of him on social media. Fans, upon viewing the video, speculated that Nawaz and Aaliya may have reconciled after facing challenges in their relationship. Meanwhile, Nawazuddin Siddiqui's upcoming project is 'Section 108.'
