Parineeti Chopra says she was told to spend Rs 4 lakh a month on a fitness trainer, but she could not afford it: 'People judged me'

Parineeti Chopra recently opened up about her early days in the film industry, shedding light on the financial challenges she faced and the judgment she endured from her peers.

During her recent conversation on Raj Shamani's podcast, Parineeti revealed that she didn't come from a wealthy background and struggled to afford luxuries like hiring a fitness trainer .


Recalling a moment when a Mumbai-based co-star belittled her for not being able to afford a trainer and other fitness regime things costing Rs 4 lakh per month, Parineeti shared her experiences of being judged for her financial limitations. Despite her middle-class upbringing, Parineeti expressed her determination to navigate the Bollywood world on her own terms, without the privileges enjoyed by many others in the industry.



During the initial years of her career, Parineeti admitted to not earning much, making it challenging to invest in expensive trainers and nutritionists. She highlighted the disparity between her modest earnings and the extravagant lifestyle promoted within the film fraternity, emphasizing the pressure she faced to conform to societal expectations.



Now, with several successful films under her belt, including her latest release ' Amar Singh Chamkila ' opposite Diljit Dosanjh , Parineeti showcases how hard work can lead to success.
