Prithviraj reveals how Hans Zimmer nearly agreed to do 'Aadujeevitham'

In a captivating revelation during a promotional event for the highly anticipated film ' Aadujeevitham ', Malayalam star Prithviraj Sukumaran shared insights into the movie's musical maestro selection process.

Prithviraj disclosed that, when discussions commenced regarding the film's music, the team aimed high, considering none other than the illustrious Hans Zimmer and AR Rahman .

Despite acknowledging the slim chances of securing AR Rahman's involvement due to his recent Oscar win and soaring demand, they decided to extend invitations to both composers. To their astonishment, while Hans Zimmer's team showed interest, AR Rahman's response was swift and affirmative, merely within a brief 30-minute narration session.

During the event, Prithviraj reminisced, "The first discussion we had was on who would do the music for the film. When you dream, you can dream limitlessly. The first name was AR Rahman, sir, and the second one was Hans Zimmer." The actor further elaborated, "We got the reply first from Hans Zimmer’s mail, I think, and we also don’t know if we mailed the wrong email address. But out of surprise, we got a positive reply from the team. But at that time, AR Rahman’s team came up and agreed to do the project."

Titled 'The Goat Life,' the film delves into the harrowing journey of Najeeb, a Malayali immigrant who endured unimaginable trials in Saudi Arabia. Scheduled for release on March 28, the film, directed by the seasoned Blessy , stands as one of the most eagerly awaited Malayalam films.
