Ram Charan does final touch-up for his father Megastar Chiranjeevi before receiving Padma Vibhushan

Megastar Chiranjeevi received the Padma Vibhushan from the President of India , Draupadi Murmu , in an official ceremony in Delhi. The actor was accompanied by wife Surekha, daughter Sushmita Konidela , son actor Ram Charan , and his partner, Upasana Konidela , to receive the second-highest civilian honor. On May 9, Upasana shared a video on her Instagram story in which Ram Charan is doing Megastar’s fine touch-up and makeup. The father actor is staying calm and steady in front of Ram for the final touch-up. The duo donned an all-black ensemble where Ram Charan chose to wear pajamas and a kurta while Chiranjeevi donned a formal suit set. Soon Ram Charan’s sister Sushmita Konidela entered the frame to take a selfie and a picture with the duo.

In the same Instagram story, Upasana can be seen asking Chiranjeevi about what changes will happen in Klin Kaara Konidela’s (Ram Charan’s daughter) life once the Megastar receives the Padma Vibhushan. She herself revealed the answer that her two grandfathers will be the awardees of the same honor. The answer left everyone in awe and they started laughing.

Upasana’s grandfather Prathap Chandra Reddy is an Indian entrepreneur and cardiologist who was awarded the Padma Vibhushan in 2010 and Padma Bhushan in 1991.
