Ram Kapoor , who has been grabbing attention for his remarkable weight loss transformation , recently made headlines again amid speculation about him being one of the contestants in the upcoming season of Bigg Boss 19 . However, the actor has now dismissed the rumours and clarified that he is not doing the upcoming season of Bigg Boss.
During an interview with Filmibeat, the actor stated that he can never be a part of a show like Bigg Boss even if he was offered Rs 20 crore.
Ram said, "I will never ever come into Bigg Boss even if they offer me Rs 20 crore because that kind of show is not for me. That doesn’t mean it’s a bad show, I know it’s a very, very successful show. My point is, I consider myself an actor."
He further shared, "These kinds of shows, while very successful, are mostly about voyeurism. Whether it’s Bigg Boss or any other reality show , there’s no real talent being showcased — it’s just about people watching others live their lives. And that’s okay, but it’s not something I’m comfortable with. I’m a very private person, and honestly, I’d be the worst fit for Bigg Boss."
Ram Kapoor set the record straight, "If given a choice, has to make right choices, if at all he will do a show like Bigg Boss, he will be forgotten in no time. "So I am not coming to Bigg Boss, I will never come to Bigg Boss because reality shows are not for me."
On the professional front, Ram is busy promoting his upcoming project Mistry which is an official adaptation of hit English series, The Monk .
While Ram has no interest in participating in Bigg Boss 19, the makers have started preparations for the upcoming season. The new season will have a Rewind theme and the makers also plan to introduce the secret room.
