Randeep Hooda expresses no one spoke about his Hollywood film 'Extraction' performance in India

Randeep Hooda , who recently marked his directorial debut with the film 'Swatantra Veer Savarkar', talked about how his Hollywood film ' Extraction ' was received in India.

Talking to Bollywood Bubble, the actor said he received incredible praise internationally but no one in India talked about his performance in 'Extraction'.
He said that nothing happened in India. No one even talked about it in India, except a few media persons. That role turned out to be great. He got a lot of appreciation internationally. Everyone asked, ‘Who is this actor?’ They also saw a lot of his past films.

Randeep also said that he wanted to play a disruptor in 'Extraction' since he had the choice. If someone goes out of the country and looks at India from their perspective – and they have to thank Gandhiji for it – that they aren't considered physically strong. They're given the roles of taxi drivers, 7-Eleven clerks, doctors, and technicians. So when he was allowed to have a brawl with Chris Hemsworth 's role in Marvel Cinematic Universe, then he consciously took it up.

In the film, 'Extraction', Randeep plays Saju, an associate of Mahajan played by Pankaj Tripathi , who's taken to get back his son Ovi from the tough protagonist Tyler Rake (Chris). He engages in a fistfight with Tyler on the streets of Dhaka, Bangladesh. Extraction was directed by Sam Hargrave and produced by Russo Brothers.
