Ranjith Sankar wraps up the post-production of 'Jai Ganesh'; says, 'This has been the most creative, fulfilling movie work for me'

Ranjith Sankar ’s directorial ‘ Jai Ganesh ’, featuring Unni Mukundan in the lead role, is set to hit the big screens on April 11. The team has now wrapped up the final post-production work. The director took to his social media handle and confirmed completing the post-production work. While expressing gratitude to his team, Ranjith Sankar also expressed that ‘Jai Ganesh’ made him a ‘cooler person’.


In a note shared on social media, he dropped a picture from the post-production studio and wrote, “This has been the most creative, fulfilling movie post-production work for me. I think the entire process of living through this film has made me a cooler person, more at peace. Thanks to this incredible team. That's pure passion and extreme level hard work.”

Written and directed by Ranjith Sankar, ‘Jai Ganesh’ features Unni Mukundan as a physically challenged wheelchair-bound person. The film’s cast includes Mahima Nambiar, Ravindra Vijay, Jomol, Hareesh Perady , Ashokan, Nandhu, Benzi Mathews, Srikanth K. Vijayan, Ann Saleem , and Vinod Rajan , among others. In an earlier interview with ETimes, Unni Mukundan stated, “I play a specially-abled character. It's one of the most challenging and inspiring roles in my career, both physically and emotionally. We have three scripts ready for Ganesh, which will be a series of movies with a universal subject. The plan is to dub and release it in multiple languages. This decision is driven by the desire to reach a wider audience, appreciating the diversity of viewership preferences, including those who prefer watching movies on OTT platforms.”
