Radhika's cinematic journey began with her appearance in the 1978 Tamil movie Kizhakke Pogum Rail. She went on to work in numerous regional films in Telugu, Malayalam, and Kannada, showcasing her talent and versatility as an actress.

Her contributions to Tamil cinema were particularly notable, with films like 'Meendum Oru Kaathal Kathai' earning critical acclaim and prestigious awards like the Indira Gandhi Award for Best Debut Film of a Director.

In 1986, Radhika ventured into Hindi cinema with the family drama ' Naseeb Apna Apna ', starring alongside Rishi Kapoor and Farah Naaz .
