Shraddha Kapoor took to social media to celebrate her aunt, actress Padmini Kolhapure , who was recently honored with the esteemed Lata Deenanath Mangeshkar Award .

Expressing her pride and affection for her beloved ‘Masi,’ Shraddha Kapoor shared Kolhapure's video on her Instagram stories, accompanied by a heartfelt message: 'Meri Pyaari Masi, meri inspiration, meri rani ❤️.' Bollywood’s Big B, Amitabh Bachchan was also there on the stage.

Padmini, known for her illustrious career spanning decades, received the prestigious award for her remarkable contributions to the world of theatre and music . The award holds a special significance as it commemorates the legacy of Master Deenanath Mangeshkar.

Moved by the recognition, Padmini Kolhapure reciprocated the love and gratitude, dedicating the award to all those who have played a pivotal role in shaping her career. In an Instagram post, she wrote, 'Receiving an award is always special, and the Master Deenanath Mangeshkar award is even more special as he was a stalwart in theatre and music. I dedicate this award to all those who have been instrumental in what I am today. Truly blessed. Thank you to all my fans. Thank you for all your love and blessings.'


Meanwhile, Shraddha is gearing up for her next project, ‘Stree 2’, a sequel to the 2018 hit movie. Directed by Amar Kaushik, the horror-comedy also features Rajkummar Rao, Abhishek Banerjee, Aparshakti Khurrana, and Pankaj Tripathi. Varun Dhawan will play a cameo role by reprising his role from ‘Bhediya’, marking a crossover within Maddock 's Supernatural Universe. It is scheduled to hit the screens on August 31.
