Shweta Tiwari , best known for her role in Kasauti Zindagi Kay, is one of the most loved television actresses. She’s been in the limelight lately after former husband Raja Chaudhary made several shocking accusations against her. He spoke about his battle with alcoholism, not being able to meet daughter Palak, and more. Raja even accused Shweta of making him sign a contract to not meet Palak.

Shweta Tiwari had a troubled marriage with Raja Chaudhary, and the two parted ways in 2012. The actress had reportedly accused Raja of domestic violence . Raja has now given an interview to Hindi Rush where he denied all the claims and opened up about his equation with daughter Palak.

Raja shared, “She made me sign a contract stating she would only give me a divorce if I agreed never to meet Palak. She was earning more, I was earning less. I was working too, but does that even matter? A man works his whole life, and never says, ‘This is my money.’ But the moment a woman earns, it becomes ‘her’ money. That’s the strange part. Then there’s all this talk about walking shoulder to shoulder and being equals — but where is the capability for equality when your intentions change just because you’re earning a little more?”

He further shared, “Whether we resolve things or not is secondary. The important thing is that, as humans, we should at least talk once about the issue. But instead of creating that space, Shweta cruelly cut me off from my daughter. That’s not right. She did it because she was more influential and powerful.”

Raja then stated, “Shweta has harassed everyone in my family. Palak was born in Meerut, and everyone was thrilled. My mother used to take care of her, but after the divorce, Shweta completely cut Palak off from us. My mom still wants to talk to her — sadly, I myself don’t even get to speak to her.”
