Reportedly, two unidentified gunmen shot Anil Jit Singh Kamboj, at his clinic in Moga district, Punjab, leaving him severely wounded. Following the incident, the actress's team requested privacy and urged everyone to refrain from spreading any speculative news.

He wrote, “Please don’t mock an artist’s pain—show some humanity. Imagine if something similar happened in your own family. It’s disheartening to see people chasing views even in such sensitive moments. Some of the thumbnails I came across were truly disturbing. One day, when something like this touches your own family, you’ll understand these thumbnails then. Be kind.”
