Swift is gearing up for her Eras Tour , set to kick off on May 9 in Paris, just days after the Met Gala on May 6. People noted that Swift will be busy with rehearsals and tour preparations on the Gala night.

Kelce and Swift haven't been shy about their relationship, often spotted together at major events like the Super Bowl and Coachella. However, they've yet to make a red carpet appearance as a couple. The Met Gala could have been their debut, but duty calls, and Swift's tour takes precedence.

The Met Gala will feature numerous other prominent stars, with co-chairs such as Zendaya, Bad Bunny, Chris Hemsworth, and Jennifer Lopez.

Meanwhile, Taylor Swift recently dropped her new album, "The Tortured Poets Department," on April 19. Fans speculate that several tracks on the album are inspired by Kelce.

According to a source speaking to Entertainment Tonight on April 19, Kelce has been diligently supporting his girlfriend during this significant moment in her career.

“He knows how much this means to her and thinks she’s extremely talented,” the source said. “Taylor and Travis admire each other’s creative processes and work ethic. They cheer each other on, respect each other’s opinions, and are open and communicative.”
