The Great Indian Kapil Show 3: Rishabh Pant opens up about his horrific accident; says 'Itni saari medicines andar chali gayi thi ke 2-3 mahine sirf khichdi khayi hai'

The Great Indian Kapil Show which recently made a comeback with season 3, welcomed popular Indian cricketers Rishabh Pant , Abhishek Sharma , Yuzvendra Chahal and coach Gautam Gambhir in the latest episode. The episode was a laugh riot as Kapil, Krushna Abhishek, Sunil Grover and Kiku Sharda entertained viewers with their hilarious jokes. However, during one of the moments, Rishabh Pant touched everyone's heart as he opened up about his horrific accident.

Host Kapil Sharma warmly welcomed Rishabh Pant to the show, marking the cricketer’s first-ever appearance on The Great Indian Kapil Show. While welcoming, he mentioned about the horrifying accident and praised him for bouncing back with a bang.

Rishabh opened up about the accident and shared, "Accident jab hua tha na... toh itni saare dawayaan andar chali gayi thi. Toh andar se na system, kuch khaya he nahi jaata tha, kuch feel he nahi hota tha. Toh 2-3 mahine sirf khichdi hi khayi hai..Thoda simplified rakha jitna hosake."

(When the accident happened, I had to take so many medicines that my system just couldn’t handle anything. I couldn’t eat properly or feel anything inside. For almost 2 to 3 months, I survived only on khichdi… tried to keep things as simple as possible.)

Navjot Singh Sidhu commended Rishabh and his efforts and said, "Oh man! But now you're making all of them eat that Khichdi! Right"

In one of the segments, Yuzvendra spoke about missing catches, he shared, “Catch kisi se bhi drop ho sakti hai, easy bhi drop ho sakta hai... lekin jab sixer lagta hai toh camera aapke upar hi hota hai!” From one-liners to inside jokes, this episode brought cricket fans everything they didn’t know they needed.

The season 3 also marked the return of Navjot Singh Sidhu on the show. Archana Puran Singh and Sidhu are both the guest judges on the show, this year.
