Twitter user says Shah Rukh Khan cannot compete with Salman Khan despite Pathaan's success, SRK responds

Shah Rukh Khan's latest release 'Pathaan' has emerged to be a blockbuster, and if SRK's return to the theatres after four years was not enough, the film also presented fans with a special cameo by none other than Salman Khan.

SRK and Salman's bromance is loved across the nation and as they reunited on the silver screens, fans could not help but go back to the good old 'Karan Arjun' days.

However, the two actors have also been pitted against each other since time immemorial, and while they might be the best of friends in real life, for their fans, theirs is the biggest rivalry in the history of Bollywood.

Netizen says SRK cannot compete with Salman

In another such incident, on Saturday, the King Khan conducted an #AskSRK session during which a netizen went on to tell the actor that even though 'Pathaan' succeeded at the box office, he will never be at par with Salman Khan.

SRK tackled the comment with his trademark style and wit and his response only earned him more love from his fans.

"Salman bhai is…woh kya kehte hain aaj kal…young log…haan….GOAT (greatest of all time)," he replied, leaving the netizen speechless with his response.

Another fan also mentioned that he went to watch the film as he was a fan of 'Tiger' but came out becoming a fan of 'Pathaan'.

To that, SRK replied, "Tiger ka toh main bhi fan hoon bhai….bas unke saath mujhe bhi dil mein rakho bas."

He also heaped praise on his other co-stars in 'Pathaan', including John Abraham, Deepika Padukone, Ashutosh Rana and Dimple Kapadia.

'Pathaan' has emerged to be one of the biggest Hindi films of all time with collections worth over Rs 150 crore in India in just three days, and past the Rs 300 crore mark on the global scale.

Theatres have been compelled to add early morning and post-midnight shows to meet the ever-increasing demand for the film.

'Pathaan' is a part of YRF's ambitious spy universe, which consists of the 'Tiger' and 'War' franchises as well.
