Qualcomm introduced Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 SoC: Xiaomi Civi 4 Pro, Redmi Note 13 Turbo, and more phones to come with the new chipset

Qualcomm announced a new chip called Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 on Monday, March 18. It's a cheaper version of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip used in many top-level phones. Now, some brands are confirming this chip for their upcoming phones.


Redmi Note 13 Turbo
Redmi teased a new phone on Weibo, hinting it will have the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chip.

It might be called the Redmi Note 13 Turbo or Poco F6 outside China. It's rumoured to have a big OLED screen, a strong battery, and fast charging.

Moto X50 Ultra
Motorola confirmed on Weibo that the Moto X50 Ultra will use the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chip. It's also called the Motorola Edge 50 Pro in some countries. It's expected to have a great screen, a powerful camera, and come in different colours.

Xiaomi Civi 4 Pro
Xiaomi announced on Weibo that the Xiaomi Civi 4 Pro will use the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chip globally. There aren't many details yet, but it will likely have Xiaomi's software. There's also a Xiaomi model rumoured to launch in India and China with similar features.


iQoo Z9 Turbo
iQoo said on Weibo that their new iQoo Z9 series, coming in April, will use the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chip. There's a rumoured model called iQoo Z9 Turbo, expected to have a great screen and a big battery.
