Kangana’s movie Emergency against the rule of Indira Gandhi is in trouble. It is supposed to be released on September 6th. But nothing has been finalised as yet.
The potential ban gained traction after Md Ali Shabbir, an adviser to the Telangana state government, stated on Friday that Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy had assured the Sikh community that his administration would consider banning the release of “Emergency,” pending legal consultation.
The statement came after the Telangana Sikh Society (TSS) and representatives from various Sikh Gurdwaras submitted representations to the government, urging an immediate ban on the movie, which they claim misrepresents Sikhs as separatists as part of a larger conspiracy.
This movie will definitely go against the interest of the Congress party in general. The BJP wants to release it at the earliest possible to expose the misdeeds of Indira Gandhi the then Prime Minister of
India.
The movie of Kangana were not doing well as such for a long time after the hit called Manikarnika. But she is an MP now with the BJP.
Unknowingly she is crossing the limits sometimes.
She was slapped by an Airport guard in open. Now we have to see how far the people will like the movie Emergency in case it is released.
