*Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal to campaign in Brahmapuri, will appeal to the electorate to give an opportunity to AAP to be the voice of the masses*
Delhi CM and AAP National Convenor Shri Arvind Kejriwalji will be campaigning for Paromita Goswamiji, AAP candidate from Brahmapuri Vidhan Sabha in Chandrapur District.
It may be recalled that Paromita Goswamiji, is poised for a win, given her body of work for women and tribal empowerment.
It may also be noted, that this is the first major consolidation of women voters in this election, supporting one of their own in the fray, given her successful leadership in the agitation for prohibition in the district.
The sitting MLA from Brahmapuri is Vijay Wadattiwar, Leader of Opposition in the previous Vidhan Sabha. We all know that the previous LoP Radhakrishna Vikhe Patil joined the BJP and the entire opposition led by the Congress abdicated it’s responsibility of holding the Maharashtra Govt accountable. A vote for the Congress is thus equivalent to a vote for the BJP and it is time that Maharashtra got a credible opposition and AAP presents itself as not just an alternative but a solution in this respect.
