Toast Doughnut Shop and The Period Society collaborate this World Menstrual Hygiene Day

Toast Doughnut Shop and The Period Society have collaborated for World Menstrual
Hygiene Day, on 28th May 2022, to spread awareness about menstrual hygiene and smash the social stigma surrounding menstruation.

Toast Doughnut Shop will create a special flavour of doughnut for the day and 50% of the
proceeds from the sale of these doughnuts will be channelised to empower people of

underprivileged communities. The Period Society will ensure that the funds are used to
accelerate their menstrual health programmes among underprivileged communities.
The Period Society will also organise a special awareness and entertainment session on the
subject for all visitors at the store. Citizens can visit The Toast Doughnut Shop in Lower
Parel between 2:30 pm to 5:30 pm to attend the interactive and fun session.
