Mumbai| A number of spectators showed up at Wankhede Stadium on Tuesday during the India-Australia cricket match wearing T-shirts with ‘No NRC’, ‘No CAA’ & ‘No NPR’ written on them.
The above incident happened during the match on Tuesday when the protestors started raising slogans against the CAA, NRC, and NPR. While the protests were on, a sea of people started chanting ‘Modi, Modi’. The security personnel asked the protestors to leave the stadium in the view of avoiding any uncalled threat of security.
Some claimed that they weren’t allowed to enter the stadium wearing black shirts to prevent the protest at the venue. Mumbai Cricket Association (MCA) clarified that no such instructions were given.
