We have all felt cranky, irritable, and angry, sometimes for no real reason. Bad moods are a part of life. And they are especially common in adolescence and the teen years. Here are some tips to break your bad mood.

Eat and exercise
Sometimes, just giving your body what it needs can turn your whole mood around, no matter what caused it.

Sometimes what's bothering you isn't really the issue maybe your body just needs some food. So before you do anything else, give your body what it needs eat something If that isn't the problem, get a bit of exercise and get that blood moving.

Listen to music
Music is one of those strange almost magical things that has the ability to transport you back in time. It can also immediately change your mood.

Do something nice
Think of someone you can help. It's hard to be in a bad mood when you are helping someone.

Crack a smile
You have probably heard this one before, but it bears repeating: research shows that just turning that frown upside down actually makes you more likely to experience a positive mood.

Talk to somebody
