Feeling truly good about yourself means loving the person you are inside and out. It takes hard work and some major adjustments to learn to accept yourself and to address the unhappiness in your life. If you want to feel good about yourself, it starts with changing your attitude. Write a vision


If you want to feel good about yourself every day for the rest of your life, then write out a plan for that. What is your life vision? Start writing it down.

Don't stop learning
The brain is a muscle just like any other, and it will stagnate if you let it. Make it your rule to learn something new every day. Then use what you learn to make your life better.

Develop your confidence

Confidence is the key to feeling good about yourself and to loving the person you are and will become. Unfortunately, it can't be developed overnight, but you can make an effort to follow a path that will lead you to feeling confident in who you are and what you can achieve.

Write a love note
Let someone you care about know how you feel. Spill your guts. Be mushy. Sharing your love makes you feel lovable.

Don't lie to yourself

Telling lies to yourself is the most harmful form of disrespect. Write out ways in which you are untruthful to yourself, and how to correct it.
