Gamers, chill out! Y'all have spent over ‚¹52,190 crore on just PUBG alone! That's over $7 billion on PUBG Mobile across different smartphone ecosystems - Apple App Store as well as Google Play Store.
This amount refers to the "worldwide lifetime player spending" on iOS and Android for China's Tencent, the infamous maker of PUBG.

The earnings also took into account $2.6 billion worth of earnings from "Game for Peace," - the local version of PUBG in China, according to SensorTower. Majority of its revenue also comes from China
For Q3 in 2021, PUBG raked in $771 million, following a $700 million+ trajectory for each quarter in 2021. On average, PUBG has generated $8.1 million every day in 2021.
Outside of China, PUBG has raked in $3 billion. The United States stands behind China in terms of player spending - amounting for 11.8 per cent of total revenue, news agency IANS reported.
Japan took the third spot with 4.2 per cent of all revenue. In terms of mobile OS in China, iOS' App Store accounted for 81 per cent of all revenue for PUBG. Google Play Store accounted for 19 per cent of all revenue for Tencent's PUBG.
Outside China, the competition was close. Apple's App Store accounted for 56.6 per cent of user spending while Google Play represented 43.4 per cent of all user revenue.
India banned PUBG under Section 69A of the IT Act for alleged activities that pose a threat to India's sovereignty. Now, users can play PUBG under the title "Battlegrounds Mobile India" under the imprint of Krafton Inc. PUBG: New State also became available for download in India recently.
