In fact, in this era of ever-changing technology, many cases of cheating people are being seen. Fraudsters cheat people in some way or the other, but it cannot be denied that behind most of the frauds, there may be some small or big mistakes on our part.

Therefore, it becomes important that you avoid making some mistakes, otherwise, you can also be cheated and your hard-earned money can be emptied by fraudsters in the blink of an eye. So let us know which mistakes we should avoid making so that we can avoid fraud. You can know about this in the next slides...

Keep these things in mind:-
Select OTP not password

Usually when we do any online transaction or purchase any app or website etc. So here you should always choose the OTP option and not the password. Entering the password somewhere may be wrong. Whereas, OTP comes new every time and comes on your registered mobile number.

Do not share confidential information by mistake
To cheat people, fraudsters sometimes pretend to be banking officers, sometimes call people regarding card blocking or any offers, etc. and ask for their confidential banking information. Note here that never share your confidential banking information like debit/credit card number, CVV, OTP, internet banking ID password, etc. with anyone. Otherwise, you may get cheated.

No shopping from computers in offices or other places

If you have to do any online shopping, do it through a secure system or from your mobile or your personal computer/laptop. Many people have a habit of doing this from office computers, cyber café systems, etc. But do not do this, because hackers target the systems of these places the most.

Never click on unknown links
To defraud people, fraudsters send various types of attractive offers, cashback offers, challan reduction messages, etc. on their mobile phones. There is a link in these messages, on which you are asked to click. If you do this, then believe me you can lose your hard-earned money in the blink of an eye. Therefore, never trust any unknown message and click on any link.
