It’s Anya Taylor Joy Versus Chris Hemsworth in Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga. The second, more vivid trailer of the highly anticipated movie in the Mad Max franchise was dropped by Warner Bros. Furiosa: A Mad Max saga delves into Anya Taylor Joy‘s story as she struggles to survive and has to battle to get back home. The exciting and lengthy 2-minute and 26-second Mad Max trailer buzzes the internet.

Set in the post-apocalyptic world and directed by George Miller, this Mad Max: Fury Road prequel starts with biblical references to Eve and the poisoned apple. A young Furiosa is kidnapped by a gang of bikers from her childhood home of the Green Place of many mothers. Rushing through a scathing journey, she is taken to Citadel, where Dementus and the Immortan Joe fight for leadership.

Switching from stunning green visuals to the chaos of the dryland, I hear a grown-up, furious voice reminiscing about her home and magnificent mother. Saddled with grief over losing her mother and her home, Furiosa is boiling with revenge.

We see Chris Hemsworth as warlord Dementus in this villainous, ruthless avatar. After discovering that Furiousa is from the land of abundance and struggling for his pack’s survival. Filled with blind greed, he rages war on the green place. To fulfill the promise to her mother that Furiosa will find her way back home, she decides to protect the green place and take revenge on her captor, Dementus.

Additionally, In this action-packed trailer, with bone-crushing scenes, music composer Tom Holkenborg’s score elevates the adrenaline-pumped scenes. In this origin story, Furiosa is ready to reclaim her life, take down Dementus, and crush anyone in her way of returning home.

Certainly, the trailer is quintessentially Mad Max style, with eccentric costumes, nail-biting fight scenes, and a journey of vengeance. Undeniably, the most eye-grabbing scene is when Furiousa shaves her head. The whistle-worthy scene depicts her having been through hell and high water, and there is no stopping her now.

Significantly towards the end of trailer, we see that a car rushes towards Dementus. And a relentless Furious stands on top of the hill against Chris Hemsworth before the screen cuts to black.

As per the official synopsis, Warner Bros. Pictures and Village Roadshow Pictures’ upcoming film will unveil the beginnings of the formidable character from the Oscar winning Mad Max: Fury Road. Additionally, Tom Burke, Lachy Hulme, Nathan Jones, John Howard, and Angus Sampson also star in pivotal roles.

Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga, will release in theatres on May 24, 2024.
