House of the Dragon Season 2 trailers are now out. It’s a Battle of Greens and Blacks. The HBO series is a prequel to Game of Thrones. The series is based on George RR Martin’s Fire & Blood. The events of HoTD take place 100 years before GoT. The series is created by Ryan Coldan and RR Martin and the first season released in 2022.
The HBO series stars Paddy Considine, Matt Smith, Emma D’Arcy, Rhys Ifans, Steve Toussaint, Eve Best, Olivia Cooke, Sonoya Mizuno, Fabien Frankel, Tom Glynn-Carney, Ewan Mitchell, Bethany Antonia and Phoebe Campbell. Ramin Djawadi has composed the music for the series.
House of the Dragon Season 2 Black trailer is about Rhaenyra Targaryen’s Team Black. Rhaenyra claims that she is the one who should be sitting on the Iron Throne, as she is the rightful heir. She says that her father chose her to succeed him till his last breath. Rhaenyra tells her family that she needs to fight this war against Alicent and those who are not letting her have what she believes belongs to her.

The trailer shows glimpses of how the war unfolds and how there’s going to be bloodshed, betrayal, and brave decisions. On the other hand, the House of the Dragon Season 2 Green Trailer is about Alicent’s Team Green. Alicent believes that the realm will never accept a queen claiming the throne. Alicent says that Viserys wanted Aegon to succeed him. She reminds Aegon of the sacrifices they made to make him sit on the throne. They are also ready for the war against those who try to stop them.
War will be the central premise in House of The Dragon Season 2, with the throne politics and treachery helping to shape the story better. Both the trailers create great excitement to see who will have the upper hand this season – Rhaenyra or Alicent? Deadly wars mean more of an invitation for more deaths.
Emma D’Arcy and Olivia Cooke have put forward a stellar act in both their respective trailers. It leaves us curious to see how dark and ruthless both characters will get, forgetting entirely that they were once close friends.
