Preparation Time: 15 minutes
Marination Time: 30 minutes
Grilling Time: 10 minutes
Total Time: 55 minutes
Serving: 4 persons

Ingredients:

250 grams paneer (Indian cottage cheese), cut into cubes
1 bell pepper (capsicum), cut into cubes
1 onion, cut into cubes
2 tablespoons yogurt (curd)
1 tablespoon besan (gram flour)

1 tablespoon ginger-garlic paste
1 teaspoon turmeric powder
1 teaspoon red chili powder
1 teaspoon cumin powder
1 teaspoon garam masala
1 tablespoon lemon juice
Salt to taste
Oil for grilling
Fresh coriander leaves, for garnishing
Lemon wedges, for serving

Method

- In a bowl, combine yogurt, besan, ginger-garlic paste, turmeric powder, red chili powder, cumin powder, garam masala, lemon juice, and salt. Mix well to form a smooth marinade.

- Add paneer cubes, bell pepper cubes, and onion cubes to the marinade. Coat them evenly with the marinade. Allow the paneer and vegetables to marinate for at least 30 minutes to absorb the flavors.

- Preheat the grill or grill pan over medium heat. Brush it with a little oil to prevent sticking.

- Skewer the marinated paneer cubes, bell pepper cubes, and onion cubes onto skewers, alternating between them.

- Place the skewers on the preheated grill or grill pan. Cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until the paneer and vegetables are lightly charred and cooked through.

- Remove the skewers from the grill and transfer the Paneer Tikka to a serving plate.

- Garnish with fresh coriander leaves and serve hot with lemon wedges.
