Middle aged exorcist rapes four women of family including minor in Nagpur
Nagpur: In a heart wrenching incident sending ripples across the Orange City, a tantric (exorcist) raped four women of a family including a minor girl on the pretext of exorcism here under Pardi Police Station.
According to sources, the minor girl’s father works as an agent at a government office and the accused was friends with the girl’s father. The accused was known among the women in the area as an exorcist.
Back in May 2019, when the family was facing severe financial crises, the minor girl’s mother called the accused home to mitigate and derive some solution. The accused, after visiting their home, had said that the house was possessed.
Ninawe also told the family that any family member could die if exorcism was not performed immediately. He said that the required ritual was 21 days long and took Rs 1.2 lakh from the family to perform it.
After performing the said ritual, Ninawe said that the spirit possessing the house had gone and now the family member would have to perform a ritual with him individually. The girls’ father agreed to this as well.
Ninawe, on the pretext of performing the ritual, took the minor girl to a lonely place and raped her. He compelled her to establish physical acts if she wanted to save her parents. After this, he also raped the girl’s mother, aunt and grandmother too, threatening them of dire consequences of the spirit.
As Ninawe was continuously asking for money, they girls and her mother finally disclosed their ordeal before family members.
The victims have registered a complaint with Pardi Police Station. Acting swiftly on the complaint, cops nabbed Ninawe. Cops suspect that he may have raped other women too. A thorough probe is underway.
