The AIBE 18 exam is scheduled for December 10, with admit cards available for download between December 1 and 5. Originally set for November 26, the exam date was changed to avoid clashes with other exams. The exam structure comprises 100 multiple-choice questions to be answered within 3 hours and 30 minutes, and candidates must mark their answers on the provided OMR form.

The AIBE exam awards successful candidates the Certificate of Practice (COP) for practicing law in Indian courts. This year, the pass percentage has been raised to 45% for general category candidates (from 40%), and to 40% for SC, ST, and PWD candidates (from 35%).
