The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released crucial instructions specifically aimed at candidates from the Tamil Nadu State Board applying for the JEE Main 2024 Sessions. These directives are particularly pertinent to those who completed classes 10 and 12 in 2021, wherein no exams were conducted due to the pandemic situation.

Impact on Tamil Nadu Class 10 Batch of 2021:

The Tamil Nadu Class 10 batch of 2021 faced an unconventional situation where no exams were held, resulting in the issuance of mark sheets carrying the word "pass" across all subjects, as per the directive outlined in G.O. (Ms) No. 48, School Education (G.E.) department, dated: 25.02.2021.

Changes in JEE Main Application Process:

To facilitate a smooth application process for these candidates, NTA has decided to deactivate the result mode field and block fields for marks/CGPA whenever an applicant selects 'passing year' as 2021 and 'School Board' as Tamil Nadu State Board of School Examination (Secondary).
