Vodafone is giving double 4G data with these prepaid plans

Taking on Reliance Jio and Bharti Airtel in India's highly-competitive telecom sector, Vodafone has upgraded two of its affordable prepaid plans to offer more data benefits.

The telecom major has revised the Rs.

199 and Rs. 399 packs to provide its users with double data and unlimited calling throughout the validity of the plan.

A look at the benefits of Rs. 199 plan
Option #1

Until now, the Rs. 199 plan offered 1.5GB of daily 4G/3G data, unlimited calling benefit within India, and 100 SMSes per day.

However, with the latest revision, the 'SuperPlan' now comes with double the data benefit i.e. an additional 1.5GB data per day (total 3GB daily data).

As for validity, the Rs. 199 plan lasts 28 days.

For more validity, get the Rs. 399 plan
Option #2

If you are a light-to-medium internet user and want more validity from your recharge pack, you can try the Rs. 399 plan.

Under this prepaid pack, you now get 2GB of high-speed data per day (inclusive of the double data offer), unlimited calls to any network within India, and 100 SMSes per day for a total validity period of 84 days.

The Rs. 199 and Rs. 399 prepaid plans also offer free access to live TV, movies, shows, and more via the Vodafone Play App.

According to Telecom Talk, this double data freebie is a limited period offer and it's unclear as to when it'll end.

Presently, the offer is available in select regions including Andhra Pradesh & Telangana, Chennai, Karnataka, Kerala, and Mumbai.
