03 Dec 2019

A lot of heroes and villains in Marvel rely on guns, arrows or other throwables to pose a threat. Most notable is Captain America who tosses his shield as an offensive weapon.

These characters rely on a variety of factors for accurate aim.

Some resort to superpowers, some rely on sniper scopes and some are naturally talented sharpshooters.

Here are Marvel's five best marksmen.

The punishment duly meted out accurately
The Punisher

Frank Castle, the Punisher, uses weapons aggressively in his brand of vigilante justice.

He is adept with guns and knives and though he relies on heavy firepower than well-placed shots, it does not take away the fact that Frank is an extremely skilled marksman.

Frank, the veteran of several wars, is a United States Marine Corps Scout Sniper, meaning he is an unerring marksman.

Training makes absolutely perfect
Hawkeye

Hawkeye or Clint Barton is one of the finest marksmen in the Marvel Universe.

And this is why, he became one of the core members of the superpowered Avengers.

Trained by Trick Shot, Barton is exceptionally adept with a bow and arrow due to immense practice rather than superpowers.

More importantly, he is also great with throwables and is a skilled swordsman.

Luck never lets him miss his shots
Longshot

A mutant who can manipulate reality according to his will and thus increase his luck, Longshot is a genetically engineered X-Men ally.

His probability manipulation prowess makes him one of Marvel's best marksmen and his choice of weapon includes an entire shoulder belt filled with cleaved knives.

As his name suggests, he can take impossible shots with these and the mutant never misses.

Luck is her best superpower
Domino

Originally a member of the X-Force as we saw in the second Deadpool movie, Domino too like Longshot can manipulate reality.

She subconsciously warps reality to improve her luck and as the second-in-command to Cable, one of the finest marksmen himself, it is unsurprising Domino is near this list's top.

She uses low-level subconscious telekinesis in stressful situations and rarely ever misses her shots.

The best in the Marvel universe
Bullseye

A troubled sociopath, no one knows the real name of Bullseye. However, what is abundantly clear is that he is the best and deadliest shot in the Marvel universe.

He often lends his services as an assassin to the highest bidder. However, his true mission is making Daredevil's life hell.

Capable of turning almost any household item into a deadly throwable, Bullseye commands fear.
