Acclaimed actors Greta Lee, known for her roles in Past Lives and The Morning Show, and Kingsley Ben-Adir, recognized from Bob Marley: One Love, are currently in talks to star in the upcoming sci-fi horror film 11817.

The Hollywood movie is a new venture by Louis Leterrier, the creative force behind popular films like Now You See Me.

The plot of 11817 revolves around a family trapped mysteriously within their home, forced to rely on their wits as resources dwindle.

Matthew Robinson is the writer behind the 11817 script, with Leterrier also serving as a producer.

The film is fully funded by Rocket Science, which will manage foreign sales and introduce the film at the Cannes Film Festival this month.

The North American rights will be represented by CAA Media Finance.

The production team includes Thomas Benski and Omar Sy from their new venture, Carrousel Studios, marking its inaugural project.
