Acclaimed actor Mckenna Grace, recently seen in Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire, has been cast as the lead in the upcoming young adult film Everything I Never Did, reported Variety.

The screenplay will be penned by D.J.

McPherson and Scott Taylor.

Renowned Australian director Jeremy Sims, recognized for his work on Last Cab to Darwin, will be directing the film.


The film is being produced by Spencer McLaren

The film's production is being overseen by Spencer McLaren from Aspect Entertainment, known for his work on La Brea and Dive Club.

McPherson and Jack Christian are also part of the production team under their newly formed banner, Filmology Features.

The creators described the film as a unique love story filled with unexpected twists and turns.


Plot revolves around a troubled teenager
Storyline


The plot of Everything I Never Did revolves around Liam Black, a troubled teenager, and Jenna Reid, a "seriously ill girl" portrayed by Grace.

The narrative follows their transformative journey of living and loving despite adversity.

McPherson expressed his excitement about the project stating, "We are thrilled to finally announce Everything I Never Did. It's a project that is very close to our hearts."

Upcoming work


Despite a busy schedule, Grace is set to begin work on Everything I Never Did in 2024.

Currently, the I, Tonya actor is involved in pre-production for Mandalay Pictures's Straight Lines, serving as both cast member and executive producer.

Additionally, she has roles in Lionsgate's Anniversary and Hungry Bull Productions's Spider & Jessie, both of which are in post-production.

Grace's career continues to flourish with several ongoing projects. She is set to produce and star in the upcoming project Rabbit Cake under Amazon MGM Studios.

Furthermore, she has roles in Searchlight Pictures's Perfect and Alloy Entertainment's 99 Days, both of which are currently in development.

The Handmaid's Tale star is represented by CAA, Entertainment 360, and attorney Stewart Brookman.
