Prominent Bollywood actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui, along with four of his family members, has been acquitted of molestation charges by Uttar Pradesh Police.

The case was initiated nearly a decade ago by his wife, Aaliya Siddiqui.

Aaliya is a television personality and producer who lodged her complaint at the Protection of Children from Sexual Offenses (POCSO) court in Muzaffarnagar, Uttar Pradesh.

She was also a part of Bigg Boss OTT 2.

Aaliya accused Siddiqui's brother, Minazuddin, of molesting a minor family member in 2012 and alleged that the rest of the family supported him.

After a comprehensive investigation into these allegations, the police submitted their final report in 2023, clearing Siddiqui and his family members of any misconduct.

Notably, despite multiple notices to present her case in court, Aaliya did not appear.

Consequently, the court accepted the police's report and acquitted Siddiqui and his family.
