Ranveer Singh is reportedly in discussions to collaborate with Prasanth Varma, the acclaimed director of the hit Telugu film HanuMan.

An insider from Varma's team confirmed this news to Hindustan Times, revealing that Singh is "interested" in the project.

Although it's almost confirmed, nothing is finalized yet as the actor hasn't officially signed on.

The official announcement will be made once everything is finalized.

"Yes, it's true that Prasanth approached Ranveer for a film in his cinematic universe. It will be his immediate next project after Jai HanuMan," the source revealed.

Further, the insider added, "Ranveer is interested, and it's almost confirmed, but nothing is finalized yet. An official announcement will be made once it's finalized."

Meanwhile, the source mentioned that Mythri Movie Makers will be backing this project.

It remains unclear whether Singh's potential collaboration with Varma will be for the recently announced sequel, Jai HanuMan, or a different project.

The sequel was unveiled by Varma during the Ram Mandir Pran Prathistha ceremony on January 22, exciting HanuMan fans worldwide.

The original film, set in the imaginary village of Anjanadri, was a commercial success and marked the beginning of what is now known as the Prasanth Varma Cinematic Universe (PVCU).

While details about the film are still under wraps, it is known that Teja Sajja will play a significant role.

There are speculations that Ram Charan might portray Lord Ram, but an official announcement is yet to be made.

In addition to the potential collaboration with Varma, Singh has several other projects in the pipeline.

He is set to appear in Rohit Shetty's highly-awaited police drama Singham Again, where the actor will share screen space with his wife Deepika Padukone, and fellow actors Ajay Devgn, Akshay Kumar, Tiger Shroff, Arjun Kapoor, and Kareena Kapoor Khan.

Furthermore, Singh is also slated to feature in Farhan Akhtar's Don 3.
