Virat Kohli starred with a half-century in Royal Challengers Bengaluru's second win of IPL 2024, against Sunrisers Hyderabad at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium.

Although Kohli's modest strike rate raised eyebrows, his knock helped RCB end their six-match winless run.

Notably, Kohli scored his 31st fifty-plus IPL score in winning cause.

Here are the batters with most 50+ scores in IPL matches won.

David Warner: 41
#1

Australia's David Warner is the third-highest run-scorer (6,564) in the IPL after Kohli and Shikhar Dhawan.

He also holds the record for smashing the most fifty-plus scores (66), including four tons.

As many as 41 of Warner's fifty-plus IPL scores have come in winning cause. He remains the only batter with over 40 such scores in the cash-rich league.

Shikhar Dhawan: 34
#2

Another dashing left-handed batter, Dhawan remains one of the most prolific run-scorers in IPL history.

He is one of only two players with over 6,700 IPL runs, the other being Kohli.

Notably, Dhawan follows Warner in terms of fifty-plus scores in the IPL in matches won. The former owns 34 scores in this regard.

Overall, Dhawan has 53 fifty-plus IPL scores.

Virat Kohli: 31
#3

As mentioned, in Hyderabad, Kohli slammed his 31st fifty-plus score in RCB's win.

Notably, Kohli remains the only player to have played for only one franchise every year since the inaugural IPL edition (2008).

Kohli has 61 fifty-plus scores in the IPL overall.

In the SRH match, Kohli also became the first batter with 400+ runs in 10 different IPL seasons.

AB de Villiers and Rohit Sharma: 28

AB de Villiers and Rohit Sharma follow Kohli with 28 IPL fifty-plus scores each in winning cause.

Arguably the most flamboyant batter, de Villiers retired with 5,162 runs from 184 IPL matches. He represented RCB for over a decade and scripted several records.

Meanwhile, Rohit also emerged as a match-winner for Deccan Chargers and MI. He led MI to five IPL titles.
