Kolkata Knight Riders opener Phil Salt hammered a whirlwind 75-run knock versus Punjab Kings in Match 42 of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024 season on Friday at Eden Gardens.

Salt smoked six fours and six sixes (SR: 202.70), having faced 37 balls.

He added a record 138-run opening stand alongside Sunil Narine (71), flooring the Punjab bowlers.
