Mahendra Singh Dhoni etched his name in Indian Premier League's history books.

The veteran cricketer has become the first player to earn 150 wins as a player in the tournament's history.

Dhoni attained the milestone in Chennai Super Kings' win against Sunrisers Hyderabad in Match 46 of the IPL 2024 season on Sunday.

Dhoni, who holds the record for most appearances in the IPL, played his 259th match and collected his 150th win. 133 of his wins have come as captain.

As per ESPNcricinfo, Ravindra Jadeja and Rohit Sharma are next with 133 wins each as players.

Dinesh Karthik is the only other player with 125-plus wins in the tournament.
