Indian Premier League (IPL) franchise Sunrisers Hyderabad have appointed 2019 World Cup winning coach Trevor Bayliss.

The current England boss will replace Tom Moody at SRH.

Moody was at the helm since 2013. Under him, SRH won the IPL trophy in 2016.

Earlier, there were reports that Bayliss was being signed by Kolkata Knight Riders but SRH cleared the speculations by confirming his appointment.

A few days back, Bayliss had confirmed that he no longer intends to continue with England once his tenure ends in September 2019.

"I have always been a believer that four or five years is long enough, whether you are doing well or not. It is time for a new voice for the boys, to hopefully take them to another level," said Bayliss.

Bayliss needs to continue the work of Moody
Fact

SRH qualified for five play-offs across seven seasons under Moody. So the task will be clear for Bayliss. He will need to continue in the same vein and get the team firing. He has some star players to work with and that's a bonus.
