Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India have begun delivering its new mid-weight Sportbike CBR650R from its Honda BigWing Gurugram showroom. This bike will replace the existing Honda CBR650F. And its ex-showroom price is Rs 7.70 lakhs. In India, it is being assembled with the CKD kit.
The new CBR650R is equipped with 649 ccs four-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine, which generates the power of 87bhp and torque of 60.1Nm.
In terms of safety, the bike has 240-mm rear disc with standard dual-channel ABS. The bike's chassis is about 6 kilograms light as compared to CBR650F. This bike has a slipper clutch and traction control system for reddened shifting, that is switchable.
The CBR650R of Honda will be available in two colors, which are respectively Grand Prix Red and Matte Gunpowder Black. The bike looks very sporty. Its design is inspired by Honda's CBR1000RR Fireblade. Its appeal is off and it looks very aggressive. The bike has full-LED lighting and a digital LCD display.
