Maruti Suzuki India (Maruti Suzuki India) launched the current generation version of the Swift in India at the 2018 Auto Expo (Auto Expo) two years ago. Very popular in the sub-compact hatchback segment, this car is preparing to come with some updates to maintain its lead.

Design The 2020 Swift facelift (2020 Swift facelift) is going to get a new honeycomb mesh design for the front radiator grille. In addition, the chrome strip divides the grill into two parts. The front bumper looks slightly more aggressive than before, while the overall design is largely the same. The car also features new dual-tone alloy wheels and color options. According to the report, models offered in India can be made with alloy wheels and some of these without color options.

The interior No pictures of the car's new interior have been revealed. It is therefore likely that the Swift facelift may get the cabin layout of the current model. The only change that can be seen in the interior of this car is probably the seat upholstery. The hatchback car will also get a new version of Maruti's SmartPlay Studio infotainment system. Some new features can also be added to make it more attractive.

The engine This car is expected to be offered with the company's K12N dualjet petrol engine. The same engine was recently introduced with the Desire facelift. It is expected that it will also be offered in Swift. This engine generates a power of 90PS and a peak torque of 113Nm. Since it gets a start/stop function, a better fuel efficiency rating can be expected than before.

cost Maruti Suzuki sells the Swift in India at an ex-showroom price of Rs 5.19 lakh to Rs 8.02 lakh. But there may be a slight increase in the prices of facelifted models. This updated Swift model is expected to be launched in the festive season this year. In the Indian market, it will compete with Ford Figo, Hyundai Grand i10 NIOS, and Tata Tiago.
