Gold prices have seen a downward trend today, on the Multi Commodity Exchange, June futures gold is trading down by 0.29 percent, whereas, silver is trading with a slight increase.

Talking about the global market, gold rates have fallen amid a slowdown in US Treasury yields, in the previous session, spot gold fell 0.2 percent to $ 1,766.32 an ounce.

On Tuesday, the June futures gold fell by Rs 139 to Rs 47,254 per 10 grams on the Multi Commodity Exchange, with gold reaching a high of Rs 47,850 in the previous session.
