This season of Bioscope has taken such a long break for the first time ever since I started writing the films of the 70s, 80s, and 90s, their making and interesting stories related to them. The matter was related to health but still sorry for the break without being told. Today I am going to tell some interesting stories about director Raj Khosla's famous film 'Dostana'. Mahesh Bhatt learned the tricks of filmmaking in Raj Khosla's Shagiardi and was still making a mess between Mahesh Bhatt and Amitabh Bachchan during the making of the film 'Dostana'. Released on 17 October 1980, 'Dostana' is the film of our present-day Bioscope. You can also find the release date of the film on Wikipedia or other sites related to the film, but the film reached theaters across the country on October 17 itself. This last superhit film of director Raj Khosla was the producer of Yash Johar and the same film laid the foundation of his production house i.e. Dharma Productions, whose actor Karan Johar later called another film with the same name as Abhishek Bachchan, Priyanka Chopra, and John Abraham Created.
Bihari Babu's cool style There is also a coincidence of 'Dostana' bioscope that just two days ago, I accidentally met Shatrughan Sinha. He was sitting in his car at the portico of the movie tower on Lokhandwala back road and I got out of the same building after having dinner with a friend. After the Dua Salaam, talks began to take place for the Bihar Assembly elections of his son Love. Shatrughan Sinha discussed in detail the importance of his son's seat, his geographical location, and his chances of victory. As a BJP leader, I met Shatrughan Sinha at the house of BJP leader Santosh Gangwar in Bareilly. His nature remained the same from the beginning. Neither did he ever show me any kind of pride as an actor, nor did he show any kind of arrogance only after becoming a minister in the BJP government. His friends who were 'friendly' always remained the same. Except, Amitabh Bachchan.
Amitabh and Shatrughan's competition Amitabh Bachchan and Shatrughan Sinha are partners in the days of struggle. The two appeared together for the first time in the film Parvana. Then the two also worked together in another less well-known film 'Rasta Ka Pathar'. The story of the film 'Rasta Ka Pathar' was later repeated by Anurag Basu in his film Life in a Metro. Mukesh sang in the movie 'Kaasta Ka Pathar', released in 1972, 'Kaasthana stone Kismat mein jaane mein jaana hai, which was a stumbling block through the road ...' is a super hit song of its time. This is still a favorite song for Mukesh fans. Apart from these anonymous films, Amitabh and Shatrughan Sinha have worked together in 'Kaala Patthar', 'Dostana', 'Shaan' and 'Naseeb'. The specialty of these films was that Shatrughan Sinha got more applause than Amitabh Bachchan every time. Even during the outdoor shooting of these films, people would often get upset when they saw Shatrughan Sinha playing more seats than Amitabh. During the shooting of 'Kala Pathar', I have already told you in the film 'Kaala Pathar' biscope what has happened due to this.
Story of salim-javed Salim-Javed's film 'Dostana' is the story of two friends who studied together but one became Police Inspector Vijay and the other was lawyer Ravi. Both are at the height of their professions and both never interfere in each other's work. One day a beautiful girl comes to write a report of molestation in Sheetal police station, then she meets Vijay. The same day, Sheetal also meets Ravi. Ravi only starts to like Sheetal but cannot say. Vijay puts his heart forward with frankness and his love starts filling up. Ravi also works for Daga, a major criminal in the city. When Ravi learns Vijay and Sheetal's love story, he breaks down. The situation comes at a point where Ravi is in the hands of Vijay, avoiding the hanging planks or swinging on it. Sheetal goes to Ravi with a request to save his love, and what happens after that sets the foundation of the film's climax.
